A California native, Pablo entered training after years of working in mental health and social services. His introduction to the gym world came as a way for him to treat personal struggles with depression and anxiety. After studying psychology and practicing therapy, Pablo saw firsthand the benefit of physical activity on his clients' mental health. Drawing from personal experience and what was reported to him by his clients, Pablo made the transition from mental health to personal fitness training as a means to help others through exercise and fitness--a decision he is proud of.

Pablo marries his experience as a therapist with the demands of a trainer. Incorporating elements of mindfulness with the theoretical and practical knowledge of fitness training, Pablo advocates for the mind-body connection. His passions for exercise are traditional weight training, sports performance, and boxing. Pablo loves to move, often dancing, playing with his dog, and boxing. In his spare time, he enjoys watching horror films, reading, and performing on stage with Baloney and San Francisco drag performers.
